Pitching Performance

Sam is the founder of Pathway Performance, a cutting-edge training company built to give athletes access to the same data-driven, science-backed coaching once reserved for top professionals. By combining his passion for baseball with an advanced background in data and analytics, Sam has united top specialists to create a system that transforms performance and durability. His athlete-first approach integrates technology, movement science, and individualized programming to help players unlock their full potential on and off the field.

Strength & Conditioning

Corey is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Ph.D. graduate in Health Sciences who has established himself as a leader in athlete performance and player development. Currently serving as a Head Minor League Strength Coach for the Detroit Tigers, he specializes in building functional strength and explosive power programs that directly transfer to the field. With a reputation for blending science, technology, Corey is dedicated to helping athletes maximize performance while staying durable over long seasons.

Athletic Training

Shea is a master's-educated Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC, LAT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) who has built her career at the intersection of performance and durability. Known for her athlete-first, science-driven approach, she has worked with elite organizations including the Cleveland Guardians and University of Virginia Athletics, and has been invited to high-level seminars hosted by the Los Angeles Dodgers and the MLB Players Association. Her passion lies in helping athletes move better, stay healthier, and unlock their potential.

Samantha Mills, MS

Samantha Mills, MS

Nutrition & Dietetics

Samantha Mills is a master's-educated nutrition professional with dual graduate degrees in Nutrition Science and Kinesiology from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale. She is currently pursuing her Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and is an member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association. Her experience includes serving as Head Sports Nutrition Specialist for SIU athletics, completing a comprehensive dietetic internship at Marshall, and currently working with military personnel.

Justin Hirschberg, MS

Justin Hirschberg, MS

Mental Performance

Justin is a master's-educated mental performance professional with a graduate degree in sport and performance psychology from Barry University, where he also served as a mental performance consultant for the university's baseball program. He is the founder of Hirschberg Performance Lab (HPL), a private practice dedicated to mental performance coaching for pitchers. His experience includes formal training across sports psychology and neuroscience, a competitive playing background as a pitcher at the college level.

Data Engineering

Jake is a Full-Stack Engineering and Data Analyst, building the Pathway platform end-to-end that turns an athlete's data into a personalized path forward. By combining a seasoned college baseball career with a background in applied mathematics and data science, Jake designs and builds the systems that give athletes access to the same kind of individualized, data-driven development professional organizations use, with the goal of improving the game of baseball as a whole.

Physical Therapy Partner

Dr. Logan Woodall, a Virginia native, has built a career centered on helping athletes recover, perform, and thrive. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Lynchburg and holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from Lynchburg College, where he also competed as a Collegiate Pitcher. His background as a student-athlete continues to inform his clinical philosophy and commitment to performance-based rehabilitation.

Chiropractic Partner

Dr. Louis Fernandez, a New York native, has built a respected career in chiropractic care with a focus on movement patterns, recovery, and long-term wellness. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bloomfield College, where he followed a pre-chiropractic track before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College in 2000. With over two decades of clinical experience, he specializes in treating athletes and active individuals seeking to optimize their performance and prevent injuries.
